  1. Heat 1tbsp oil in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add whole masalas and sautè for a sec.
  3. Add sliced onions and green chillies and sautè for a min.
  4. Add ginger garlic paste and sautè for a min on medium flame.
  5. Add the veggies one by one and sautè on medium flame for 5 mins.
  6. Add the tomatoes (optional) saute for a min.
  7. Add the coriander and mint leaves saute on low flame for a min.
  8. Add the basmati rice and give a quick stir.
  9. Add 1 1/2 cup of water (for one cup rice).
  10. Mix everything properly and close the cooker.
  11. Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  12. Turn off the flame wait for the pressure to go.
