- Fill a piping bag with custard. Use a fairly long and narrow tip. Use a sharp knife or back of the spoon to make a small incision about 3/4 of the way through the doughnuts and pipe the custard in. - - Dust or roll the doughnuts in a icing sugar or sugar.
