The ingredients needed to make Semovita balls/akara:
  1. Prepare 1 kg semovita
  2. Prepare 3 large eggs
  3. Prepare Curry
  4. Prepare Maggi
  5. Take Onion
  6. Get Bell pepper
  7. Take Warm /hot water
  8. Get Oil

We are ever ready to supply you with a variety. The first picture was a simple mini akara crepe filled with some tomatoes, onions and siracha chicken. The second picture is just mini akara balls. I simply used a tablespoon to scoop the mix into the hot oil to fry.

Steps to make Semovita balls/akara:
  1. Mix semovita with warm water to make a very thick paste.The water should be half warm/half hot
  2. Cover and leave over night to soak
  3. Chop onion and bell pepper and add to the paste
  4. Season with maggi and curry powder
  5. Lighthly beat eggs and add into the mixture.
  6. Heat oil on medium heat,use a spoon to scoop the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden
  7. Serve with pap,custard or chilled drink.

The second picture is just mini akara balls. I simply used a tablespoon to scoop the mix into the hot oil to fry. Let us quickly get right to my recipe for the regular akara balls.
