Grains can be excellent for fighting a bad mood. Barley, quinoa, millet, teff, etc are all excellent for helping you be in a happier state of mind. They help you feel full also which can actually help to improve your mood. Feeling famished can be terrible! These grains can help your mood elevate because it’s not at all hard for your body to digest them. They are simpler to digest than other foods which helps raise your blood sugar levels and that, in turn, raises your mood.
Green tea is fantastic for moods. You just knew green tea had to be included in this article, right? Green tea is high in a specific amino acid called L-theanine. Studies have shown that this amino acid essentially induces brain waves. This will better your brain’s focus while also relaxing the rest of your body. You likely already knew it is not hard to get healthy when you consume green tea. Now you know that it helps you to lift your moods as well!
