If you are feeling a little bit down and you’re in need of a happiness pick me up, try a couple of these.
Eggs, you might be amazed to discover, are great at fighting depression. Just be sure that you don’t get rid of the egg yolk. The egg yolk is the part of the egg that is the most important in terms of helping raise your mood. Eggs, the yolk in particular, are high in B vitamins. B vitamins can be terrific for boosting your mood. This is because they increase the function of your brain’s neural transmitters (the parts of the brain that affect how you feel). Make a trail mixfrom various seeds and nuts. Your mood can be raised by eating peanuts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and other types of nuts. Some grains are really excellent for repelling bad moods. Quinoa, barley, teff, millet, etc are all good for helping you feel better. These foods fill you up better and that can help you with your moods as well. Feeling famished can really make you feel terrible! These grains can elevate your mood since it’s easy for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps promote a rise in your blood sugar which in turn brings up your mood to a happier place.
